Ria DoshiRia is a sophomore at Monta Vista High School who loves all things computer science and artificial intelligence. Technovation inspired her to pursue technology in the future, and opened her eyes to the immense gender gap. Since then, she has become passionate about encouraging students all over the world to pursue computer science and lead the change in their communities.
Along with Technovation, Ria participated in the international ACSL computing competition, where she won awards internationally. She also is a proud Stanford AI4ALL 2018 alumni, where she got to delve deeper into artificial intelligence and biocomputation. Through programs like Stanford AI4ALL and Technovation, Ria has been able to find her passion in technology and teaching, and for that she is extremely grateful. Besides coding, Ria loves to read, play the piano, and play basketball with her friends. |
Harini ArumugamFrom the age of six, Harini was always exposed to various forms of technology. However, her interest in technology was sparked by joining the Technovation Club at her school. After months of coming up with an idea, coding an app, and launching a startup, she developed the confidence and interest to explore the STEM field.
Thanks to Technovation, Harini has fallen in love with computer science ever since. She's discovered an outlet to express her creativity through app design and development. Most importantly, she's been able to change other people’s lives with my work. Harini is honored to be playing a role in the movement for gender equality in the STEM field, and hopes to continue to lead future generations of young women through her work. In addition to Technovation, Harini is part of the robotics club at her school. Outside of school, she take lessons in Indian classical dance, music, and taekwondo. |
